Zan-rooz

This ongoing project responds to the transformative events in Iran, particularly after Mahsa Jina Amini's death in 2022. Witnessing the movement for change stirs complex emotions—hope and unity to break free from the Islamic Republic, mixed with sorrow for the lives lost. Inspired by vintage Iranian magazines, I am creating posters that reflect the courage of the Iranian people, unbound and limitless. The title "Zan-rooz" sparked reflection on the women of Iran and their fight for life and freedom. These posters capture their stories, forever etched in our hearts and memories.
این پروژه در حال انجام به تحولات بزرگ در ایران، به ویژه پس از مرگ مهسا ژینا امینی در سال ۲۰۲۲، واکنش نشان می‌دهد. شاهد بودن حرکت برای تغییر، احساسات پیچیده‌ای را برمی‌انگیزد—امید و وحدت برای رهایی از جمهوری اسلامی، در کنار غم از دست دادن جان‌های ارزشمند. الهام گرفته از مجلات قدیمی ایرانی، در حال خلق پوسترهایی هستم که شجاعت مردم ایران را به تصویر می‌کشند، آزاد و بی‌مرز. عنوان "زن روز" مرا به تفکر درباره زنان ایران و مبارزه‌شان برای زندگی و آزادی واداشت. این پوسترها داستان‌های آنها را به تصویر می‌کشند، که برای همیشه در قلب‌ها و خاطرات ما حک شده‌اند.
